Job Description:The RoleFidelity Investments is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its Government Relations team. This role supports the firm’s public policy and advocacy efforts by helping develop strategic communications, monitoring policy developments, and assisting with stakeholder engagement. The Analyst will work cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication of policy priorities to internal and external audiences.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of government relations communications, including policy-focused messaging and stakeholder outreach materialsDraft and maintain policy-related content such as issue briefs, backgrounders, fact sheets, and other educational materialsAssist in preparing client-facing and internal talking points related to legislative, regulatory, and public policy developmentsContribute to the creation and distribution of internal newsletters, policy updates, and recurring communications focused on government activitiesHelp manage and update digital policy content across internal and external platforms as neededMonitor policy, legislative, and regulatory developments and summarize key impacts for internal stakeholdersSupport coordination of communications related to advocacy initiatives, including political engagement efforts and employee communicationsPartner with communications and media relations teams to align messaging and support media outreach efforts when appropriateAssist with social media and digital engagement efforts tied to public policy prioritiesProvide support for paid media and outreach campaigns related to policy initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure accuracy and consistency of policy messagingThe Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field1–3 years of experience in government relations, public policy, communications, or a related field (internships included)Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex policy topics into clear, concise communicationsUnderstanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory processStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with financial services policy is a plusExperience drafting policy materials or communications for a corporate, government, or advocacy organizationComfort working with digital platforms, newsletters, and social media toolsInterest in political engagement and corporate advocacy initiativesNote: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.The TeamFidelity’s Government Relations and Public Policy group sits within Fidelity’s Corporate Affairs team and focuses on executing Fidelity’s core mission of better serving our customers and the communities we work in through impactful communications and policy outcomes across a range of stakeholder audiences, including legislators and regulators, community members, industry influencers and associates.  As part of a centralized organization, you will have a role in supporting the firm’s activities on meaningful issues facing the enterprise.The base salary range for this position is $60,000-115,000 USD per year.  Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
