Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.Job Description:EDUCATIONGraduate of an accredited school of nursing RequiredBachelor’ degree PreferredCERTIFICATION & LICENSURERN - Registered Nurse of California - California Department of Consumer Affairs Required orRN-IP - Registered Nurse of California Interim Permit - California Department of Consumer Affairs RequiredBLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association or American Red Cross RequiredDEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEEach employee must successfully complete the Department Specific Requirements:Patient’s Rights and Abuse Training – within three (3) months of start date and annually thereafter.Cultural Diversity in Healthcare – within three (3) months of start date and annually thereafter.FIM Competency Exam – within three (3) months of start date and biennially thereafter.Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury & Traumatic Brain Injury modules – within three (3) months of start date and annually thereafter.Amputation module – within three (3) months of start date.Swallow function and Oral Care Competency – within three (3) months of start date.SRI Transfer Training Competency – within three (3) months of start date and annually thereafter.Principles of Rehabilitation Nursing: level 1 curriculum – within three months (3) of start date.EXPERIENCEMinimum of six (6) months area specific acute care experience within the last two (2) years PreferredSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEMust have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required.Job Shift:NightsSchedule:Short HourShift Hours:12Days of the Week:VariableWeekend Requirements:Every other WeekendBenefits:NoUnions:YesPosition Status:Non-ExemptWeekly Hours:12Employee Status:Short HourSutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.Pay Range is $76.40 to $101.18 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
