The position is based in Bogota and will operate on a flexible work model.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Responsible for completion of federal, international and state VAT tax returns including all related analysis and supportPrepare external reporting of the tax obligationsKeep abreast of the variances in state and local jurisdictions and create plans to minimize the amount of taxes paid by the organization across these entitiesWork directly with external auditors and understand tax complianceMay be involved with merger and acquisition activities and other tax planning activitiesMay be responsible for complianceRequired Knowledge and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingAdvanced / Fluent EnglishMinimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in multinational companies within tax departmentMicrosoft suite knowledge Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.   Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
