This role will be a key member of the Consumer Litigation team, responsible for managing a high-volume docket of consumer disputes, including litigation and arbitration.The ideal candidate is a business-minded attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of matters end-to-end, and delivers practical, risk-based legal guidance. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders across Care, Executive Response, and other customer-facing teams to support T-Mobile’s commitment to exceptional customer experience while effectively managing legal riskWhat You’ll DoManage a high-volume docket of consumer litigation and arbitration matters, including individual federal and state claims, small claims matters, and arbitrationsServe as a hands-on attorney on assigned matters, including developing case strategy, actively assisting with all aspects of litigation, and driving resolutionOversee and strategically direct outside counsel, ensuring alignment with company consumer litigation and arbitration strategy, while ensuring efficient use of resourcesPartner cross-functionally with Care, Executive Response, and other business teams to resolve disputes and improve customer outcomesIdentify trends and recurring consumer issues and proactively advise the business on risk mitigation and process improvementsSupport small claims and arbitration programs, including preparing internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, handling aspects of matters directly.Assist in managing individual and mass arbitration matters and aligning with the broader consumer litigation strategyEvaluate when to handle matters internally versus leveraging outside counsel, with a focus on efficiency and effectivenessContribute to continuous improvement of litigation processes, tools, and strategies to enhance scalability and consistencyThe Experience You’ll BringJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and willingness to get a Kansas Bar License2-4 years of experience as a business attorney, with relevant in-house and/or top law firm transitional experience.Preferred 4–7 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on consumer litigation, arbitration, or dispute resolutionExperience managing a high-volume docket and balancing competing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to independently handle litigation matters and work effectively managing outside counselStrong business judgment and ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal adviceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate issues and drive efficient outcomesExperience in telecommunications, consumer protection, or similarly regulated industries is a plusWhy You’ll Love Working HereYou’ll play a key role in shaping how T-Mobile manages consumer disputes at scaleYou’ll be part of a collaborative, high-impact legal team that partners closely with the businessYou’ll have the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in processes, strategy, and customer experienceAt least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesTravel:Travel Required (Yes/No): NoDOT Regulated:DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No): NoSafety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): NoBase Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200Corporate Bonus Target: 15%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
