You will partner closely with IT and development teams to define, implement, and continuously improve planning and scheduling solutions that support operational goals.In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into clear functional requirements and practical system solutions. You will identify process and system gaps, guide system functionality, and validate that enhancements meet user and business expectations through testing and adoption support.With a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will help advance planning and scheduling capabilities across the organization. You will also play a key role in supporting the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud platform.Five Areas of Responsibility:One: Business Owner / Functional Lead – Tool Management and Control System (TMaCS)Serve as Business Owner and Functional Lead for the Tool Management and Control System (TMaCS), supporting global planning and scheduling operationsPartner with Manufacturing Engineering IT (ERP) to define and execute the long‑term functional roadmap aligned to GM operational objectivesAct as the primary business liaison between manufacturing stakeholders and IT development teams, ensuring business processes are accurately translated into digital solutionsDrive prioritization and functional direction for system enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiativesTwo: Functional Design & Project ExecutionLead requirements gathering, process definition, and conceptual modeling for TMaCS initiativesDevelop and maintain project scope, functional specifications, and business documentationCreate and manage User Stories, Functional Requirements, and Acceptance Criteria in alignment with GM development standardsCollaborate closely with developers and ERP Business Analysts to refine requirements and validate functional intentMaintain functional artifacts and work items within Azure DevOpsThree: Validation, Testing & Change ManagementGlobally lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across test and production environmentsCreate, maintain, assign, and execute test cases; support UAT and smoke testing cyclesReview and retire test cases based on current business processes and solution maturitySupport Enterprise Change Management (ECM) activities and validationsGovern and maintain global user access lists and authorization reviewsContribute to the definition and standardization of Planning & Scheduling business standardsFour: Deployment & Migration SupportSupport global deployments, including:Process integration and rollout readinessPilot execution and stabilizationSystem configuration and setupData and functionality migrationGap analysis and cutover supportProvide go‑live and launch support for new functionalityDevelop and maintain baseline training materials and job aidsSupport the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 (D365) CloudFive: Post-Deployment & Operational SupportConduct global business process reviews and functional assessmentsProvide interpretation of data structures and system behavior to business usersLead and support working sessions with regional teams on TMaCS setup and usageSupport user provisioning and AX/D365 security roles (as assigned)Act as a subject‑matter resource for TMaCS usage, planning logic, and business processesDrive consistency in global work processes and system usageLead global TMaCS user group meetings to share knowledge and best practicesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in discipline commensurate with the role (e.g., Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field)Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations preferred)Project or program management experienceWorking knowledge of enterprise IT processes, including:Collaboration with Business Analysts, Solution/Technical Architects, and DevelopersData‑sharing agreements and system interfacesApplication architecture and system/data integrationsEvaluating application capabilities and supporting future enhancementsDatabase experience, including ODBC or similar connection methods; Visual Studio familiarity a plusProficiency with Microsoft tools such as Access, SharePoint, and TeamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with manufacturing, plant operations, IT teams, and external suppliersStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsDemonstrated facilitation and cross‑functional leadership abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Strong functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations preferred), including standard functionality, configuration patterns, and extensibility conceptsProven ability to evaluate customizations at a granular level, including:Tracing end‑to‑end code flow and execution pathsUnderstanding detailed business logic implemented in custom code or extensionsAssessing alignment between techn
