This role is instrumental in building and maintaining test products for high velocity development of an AV stack and release validation for on-road deployment.In this highly cross-functional role, you will lead the end-to-end development of simulation tests – from architecture and safety requirements through model development, data labeling, and continuous iteration – while partnering closely with technical and operational stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to shape a foundational program within a fast-paced autonomy initiative at enterprise scale.What You’ll DoOwn the roadmap and execution for Simulation Test Creation and Metrics Evaluation for AV driving behaviors.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, development, and operations teams to ensure program alignment.Define and monitor KPIs, program metrics, and validation milestones to ensure test quality, confidence in simulation testing, and timely delivery for ML development.Proactively identify risks and blockers across software, validation, and operations, and drive real-time mitigation plans.Lead program reviews with technical and executive stakeholders between GM and external partners.Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)10+ years of technical program management experience, including 2+ years working on quality, AI/ML, robotics, or autonomous systemsBS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical fieldProven track record of managing complex cross-functional programs involving hardware, embedded software, and test pipelinesStrong systems thinking with ability to connect high-level architecture to on-the-ground execution detailsExceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skillsDeep familiarity with Agile program delivery, Jira, Confluence, and technical development workflowsWhat will give you a competitive edge (Preferred Qualifications)Experience working on robotaxi or autonomous vehicle programsBackground in automotive, aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical, requirements-driven industriesPrior experience scaling test creation infrastructureCompensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.The salary range for this role is $159,400 - $245,000. Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.#LI-LL2 This role is based remotely, but if the selected candidate lives within a specific mile radius of a GM hub, they will be expected to report to the location three times a week {or other frequency dictated by your manager}.
