Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Summary:Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Perform manual finish welding operation in 2F, 3F, 4F & 3G positionsFollow documented procedures and standard work to perform safe and defect free operationsUse of jib and overhead crane to manually position work piecesSkills, experience & qualifications you will have: Experience in MIG Welding (Solid Wire) Time served in Welding / Fabricating with at least 3 years’ experiencePrior experience in heavy fabrication or manufacturing environments working on build/welding fixtures to tight tolerancePerform multi-pass weldsAbility to work well in a team environment or individuallyGood communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamworkDesired Qualifications:Vertical Weld experience advantageousStrong commitment to safety and teamworkExperience welding 2mm – 20mm thickness materialSuccessful candidates must be able to pass the following:2F, 3F, 4F & 3G positionsFollow documented procedures and standard work to perform safe and defect free operationsSafety is a core value at Caterpillar.
