Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoAssigned EH&S duties may include but are not limited to:- Under the direction of the EH&S Manager, support and implement Safety and Environmental programs including, but not limited to, LOTO, Electrical Safety, Machine Guarding, Contractor Safety, and Job Hazard Assessments- Monitor, administer, evaluate and coordinate company EH&S programs to ensure a safe workplace- Develop and advises employee workplace programs related to safety and environmental health- Coordinate confirmation of policies and programs in accordance with industry and government regulations- Collaborate across departments to achieve and maintain consistency of EH&S program implementation- Conduct regular site inspections for compliance with EH&S programs- Analysis of leading and lagging safety performance indicators for trends to drive corrective actions- Serve as EHS representative for assigned building and functional safety council- Conduct injury investigations and root cause analysis, develop corrective actions and track to completion- Contribute to the development and implementation of EH&S strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement- Develop programs, processes and procedures to improve EH&S programs, culture for employees and contractors- Support the improvement of business and site EH&S communications plan- Support emergency response and enterprise preparedness programs- Provide instructor led training on various safety topics- Provide support for other site EH&S programs such as safety and environmental- Support the site to meet EH&S requirements for upcoming internal and external audits including Cal VPP, AS9100 and other internal company assessments- May need to travel to support Enterprise and Raytheon initiatives- Support the site to meet EH&S requirements for upcoming internal and external audits including Cal VPP, AS9100 and other internal company assessmentsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in environment, health and safetyThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
