Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The DevSecOps Development Lead will provide technical leadership for the organization's software delivery platforms, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices. This role is responsible for supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based solutions, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability while mentoring technical teams on modern software delivery practices.The successful candidate will partner with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to improve automation, security, and software delivery capabilities. This position will also serve as a technical mentor to system administrators and developers, helping expand DevSecOps knowledge and adoption across the organization.The ideal candidate brings strong DevOps fundamentals, cloud experience, and a passion for automation, continuous improvement, and team development.**This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico**What YOU will do:Platform SupportSupport enterprise software delivery platforms including GitLab, and Artifactory.Assist with platform configuration, upgrades, integrations, and operational support.Monitor system health, performance, and platform reliability.Troubleshoot complex deployment, integration, and automation issues.Collaborate with enterprise teams to align platform capabilities with organizational standards and roadmaps.DevSecOps & CI/CD EnablementDesign, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.Promote DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Support Git-based workflows and source code management practices.Assist development teams with onboarding applications to enterprise DevSecOps platforms.Support GitLab runners and build environments.Infrastructure Automation & CloudDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.Work with teams that support cloud infrastructure and cloud-native services.Build and support containerized applications.Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and scalable deployments.Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.Leadership & MentorshipServe as the primary technical advisor for GitLab CI/CD.Mentor system administrators, developers, and technical teams on:Pipeline developmentDevSecOps methodologiesLead technical discussions and provide guidance on solution design and implementation.Promote adoption of enterprise standards and continuous improvement initiatives.Agile & Continuous ImprovementParticipate in Agile ceremonies, planning activities, backlog refinement, and technical reviews.Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to prioritize platform and automation initiatives.Qualifications YOU Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Technical SkillsExperience with Git and Git-based development workflows.Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.Ability to work effectively across multiple technical teams.Security SkillsUnderstanding of secure software delivery practices.Familiarity with identity and access management concepts.Knowledge of service accounts, authentication, and authorization principles.Understanding of enterprise cybersecurity requirements.Ability to support environments subject to aerospace and regulatory compliance requirements, including ITAR.Qualifications We Prefer:GitLab administration and runner management.Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Ansible automation.Docker and Kubernetes.Grafana administration and monitoring.Artifactory JFrog administration.Keycloak and identity management.Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.What We Offer:Some of our competitive benefits packages include: Medical, dental, and vision insuranceThree weeks of vacation for newly hired employeesGenerous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching fundsParticipation in the Employee Scholar Program (ESP)Life insurance and disability coverageEmployee Assistance Plan, including up to 8 free counseling sessionsAnd more!Learn More & Apply Now!Do you want to be part of a new, exciting initiative to combine foundational IT with new digital technologies?
