The MDS Department mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control Software for our customer's wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. The candidate will act as a key leader and mentor in the department, employing leadership, presence and influence skills while fostering teamwork and interdependent execution.Responsible for the sustainment, assessment and development of the section.Ensure section members adhere to policy, vision, values and goals.Communicate flow-down to section members.Performance development which includes collecting and providing performance feedback to section members. Support section member’s yearly performance goal development.Support section salary and labor planning.Career and job assignment mentoring.We value your skills and experience, so don't hold back. If you're passionate about what you could accomplish here, we'd love to hear from you.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Experience in software development, integration or test using C, C++, Java, or Ada.Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework.The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
