Job DescriptionPosition Overview:Senior Medical Representative will identify customer needs, support pull-through of demand generation activities relative to the customer strategy, and ensure that our company is viewed as demonstrating value and better health outcomes to healthcare professionals and their patients.The Representative is responsible for thoroughly understanding the dynamics within the territory (e.g. impact of managed care, customers, competitors, patient demographics) and for drawing upon this knowledge to develop and implement a comprehensive Business action plan by cyclePrimary Responsibilities (but not limited to)Meet required standard of our company competenciesUnderstanding our company Compliance’s practice Meet required knowledge of product; disease; regulation and policy in VN pharmaceutical industryCustomer Focus Interaction/negotiation skillsBusiness planning skillPresentation skillsBusiness PlanningBased on understanding of our company strategies and brand strategies andKnowledge of territory; account’s operation; customers’ perspective; market dynamic, Vietnam Pharmaceutical policies and regulationsTo Identify short and long-term business opportunities and define smart business objectivesAnd develop business action for each business cycle to utilize company’s resources to achieve business objectivesAccount Plan Implementation and TrackingExecute business action plan in assigned territory to ensure achieved KPIs as business action plan.Monthly track KPIs and share the progress with District ManagerWell collaborate with support teams: Marketing; tender; medical; SFE… in implementation and other team to maximize company resources.Proactively propose to adjust activities if any challenges or opportunities (environment; policies; regulation; competitiveness…) which impact to business.Display professional our company MR during interaction with customers and bring good solutions for HCPs and patientsAdministrationEnsure compliance with company policy, maintain accurate customer call records and ensure all data entered to our systemReporting in timely & accurate manner as requiredActive participation in team meetings, training & development programs.Desired Experience/Education/Skills:Pharmacist; Medical Doctor3+ years pharmaceutical sales roleStrong knowledge of customer/business strategyUnderstanding of local healthcare and reimbursement systemsPreferredPrevious secondary care sales experiencePrevious experience within the Therapeutic area and/or customer baseKey account management experience including clinical and administrative customersBusiness Acumen SkillsBusiness Management Skills: Planning and executionCustomer management skills: Segmentation &Targeting and Customer EngagementRequired Skills: Account Planning, Adaptability, Customer Feedback Management, Hospital Sales, Interpersonal Relationships, Lead Generation, Market Analysis, Pharmaceutical Sales Training, Sales Calls, Sales Metrics, Sales Pipeline Management, Sales Presentations, Sales Process Management, Sales Territory Management, Sales TrainingPreferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERECurrent Contingent Workers apply HERESearch Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
