By collaborating with our forward-thinking engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating the delivery of medicines to the world.What You Will AchieveIn this role, you will:Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering for manufacturing equipment and facility systems including building infrastructure.Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure high equipment uptime and operational continuityLead and support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), investigations, and CAPA implementation for equipment-related deviationsDevelop and manage maintenance strategies (PM/PdM optimization) and equipment reliability programsContribute to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and drive improvements in OEE and asset utilizationProvide engineering support for equipment installation, modification, and project execution, including preparation of technical specifications and scope of workSupport equipment lifecycle management, including commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and decommissioning activitiesEnsure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and quality standards, including PM and documentation compliancePrepare, review, and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs, risk assessments (FMEA/QRA), and maintenance recordsSupport cross-functional collaboration with Production, QA, QC, and external vendors for timely execution of engineering activitiesPromote a culture of safety and compliance through proactive safety assessments and adherence to EHS standardsHere Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 6-8 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentHands-on experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment such as:Tablet compression machines, Granulation systems, Packaging equipmentStrong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory expectationsExperience in:Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Preventive and predictive maintenanceFailure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)Basic knowledge of automation systems / process controls (preferred)Good communication and technical documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across functionsNice to Have (Preferred Skills)Experience in TPM / Reliability Engineering ProgramsExposure to equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)Knowledge of AutoCAD / P&ID interpretationExperience in fire & life safety systems / EHS complianceExposure to energy optimization and cost improvement initiativesPfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.To learn more about acceptable and prohibited uses of AI during the recruitment process, please review our candidate AI-use guidelines available on Pfizer Careers.
