This role includes picking, staging, and issuing materials to production, as well as receiving, inspecting, and putting away inventory in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPick, stage, and deliver materials to support production work orders in a timely and accurate mannerComplete transactions in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to track inventory movement and maintain traceabilityPerform goods receipt activities, including verification, system transactions, labeling, and proper put-away of inventoryMaintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling, cycle counting, and adherence to inventory control processesEnsure all materials are stored in designated locations and comply with FIFO/FEFO and lot control requirements where applicableSupport stockroom organization, cleanliness, and 5S initiativesReceive incoming materials, components, and supplies by verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slipsPerform system receipts in ERP (e.g., SAP), ensuring accurate entry of quantities, lot numbers, and other required dataInspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with specifications; escalate discrepancies to Quality or Procurement as neededApply proper labeling, including internal part numbers, barcodes, and status labels (e.g., quarantine, released) in accordance with proceduresCoordinate with Quality for inspection or release of materials, including placement in designated quarantine or inspection locationsEnsure timely and accurate put-away of received goods into appropriate stockroom locations following FIFO/FEFO and storage requirementsMaintain receiving documentation and ensure traceability of materials in compliance with GMP and internal proceduresCommunicate with internal stakeholders (Buying, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality) regarding receipt status, shortages, or urgent materialsSupport continuous improvement of receiving processes to enhance efficiency and accuracyOperate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and in accordance with company policiesIdentify and escalate discrepancies, damaged materials, or process issues to supervisionCollaborate with manufacturing, planning, and quality teams to resolve material shortages or issuesFollow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including GMP where applicableMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentRequired: 1 year of work experience or distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field experience Ability to read and follow work instructions and proceduresPreferred QualificationsPreferred: Experience in powered industrial trucks (order pickers / forklifts)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) for inventory transactionsBasic understanding of inventory control principles (FIFO, lot tracking, cycle counts)Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40–50 lbs regularlyStanding, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periodsAbility to operate warehouse equipment safelyWork EnvironmentWarehouse and manufacturing floor environmentMay require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
