As a Microbiologist, you'll perform testing and analysis to ensure product quality while working with state-of-the-art analytical equipment in a GMP environment. You'll conduct testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques, evaluate test data, document results, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth while working alongside colleagues who share your commitment to science and quality.REQUIREMENTS:Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech industryPreferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related scientific fieldAdditional certifications in Quality Control/GMP practices beneficialStrong knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems requirementsProficiency in analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, MS, spectrophotometryExperience with microbiological and biochemical testing methodsDemonstrated expertise in data analysis and investigation of out-of-specification resultsStrong documentation skills and proficiency with laboratory information management systemsKnowledge of relevant regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, USP, EP)Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal procedures accuratelyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsClear written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience with laboratory automation systems preferredKnowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles beneficialKey responsibilities: Performs/ensures environmental monitoring: collects and evaluates air, surface, and water samples.Prepares environmental monitoring trends and annual reports.Performs/ensures microbiological, physicochemical, and biochemical testing of product and raw materials.Performs gowning qualification of operators which involved in aseptic process.Engages in aseptic process simulation and process validation: conducts and validates microbiological testing.Prepares procedures and instructions, trains department employees.Conducts gowning qualification for operators participating in aseptic procedures.Supervises deviations in production environment monitoring and performs non-conformity prevention.Salary1983- 2970 gross/monthThe final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.What we offerAnnual performance bonus and additional financial benefitsComprehensive health package, including private health, life and accident insuranceWellbeing support for employees and their family members, including mental health consultations, health check-ups, vaccinations, and on-site health initiativesOpportunities for professional growth through internal training, access to Thermo Fisher e-University, and continuous developmentThe opportunity to work in a global, innovation-driven organization and collaborate with international teamsDaily benefits such as subsidized meals, gym access, and company transportationAn inclusive and supportive culture, with team events and community initiatives2 additional paid volunteering days per yearAdditional InformationWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
