In this vital role you will be a key member of the U.S. Value & Access, Coverage and Pricing organization responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a plan of action for pricing, reimbursement, and contracting strategy to improve payer coverage within pricing goals. The Senior Associate (reporting to a Senior Manager) will help develop and implement coverage and pricing strategy, through quantitative and qualitative analysis, across the inflammation portfolio.In this dynamic environment, this role interacts cross functionally with Market Access, Value Marketing, Patient Access, Ecosystems & Insights, Sales, Brand Marketing, Government Affairs, Trade & Distribution, Business Unit Leadership, Finance, Accounting, and Legal. This role will provide a strong foundation in the U.S. healthcare market and is a good avenue to many future commercial healthcare roles.Conduct pricing, reimbursement, and contracting analyses to support Otezla/Avsola and portfolio strategy decisionsParticipate in pricing and contracting scenarios, contract decisions, and annual forecasting processesSupport the rollout and maintenance of key contracting and pricing software platforms (e.g., Conga and Contracting IQ)Track payer coverage and portfolio performance across the inflammation portfolio; develop and maintain dashboards to support understanding of the market landscape and coverage goalsCapture, analyze, and synthesize cross-functional information to support scenario planning and business insightsDevelop tools, communications, and materials across internal and external partners, including navigating the material approval processLead or support cross-functional special projects aligned to business prioritiesBuild and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams and collaborators by seeking consensus and providing ongoing support to address business needsRoutinely interact with senior leadership and cross-functional committees or teamsWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The coverage and pricing professional we seek is a self-starter with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Master’s degreeORBachelor’s degree and 2 years of in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operationsORAssociate’s degree and 6 years of in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operationsORHigh school diploma / GED and 8 years of in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting pricing, contracting, forecasting, or gross-to-net analysesStrong financial and analytical capabilities with experience interpreting complex data and business trendsFamiliarity with commercial and government pricing dynamics and payer contracting structuresAbility to work independently and achieve results across multiple competing prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence across functions and leadership levelsStrong conceptual problem-solving skills with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous business problemsExperience solving complex business problems and supporting analytics-driven projectsExperience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environmentAbility to navigate complexity and synthesize information into actionable business insightsStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilitiesExperience analyzing and drawing conclusions from multiple data sourcesAdaptability within a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environmentInterest in the evolving U.S. healthcare system and the interaction between government and healthcare stakeholdersWhat you can expect from usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
