WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHThis role sits within the North America Nike Value Stores (NVS) Planning team, reporting to the NVS Planning Manager. The team partners closely with Merchandising Buyers and Allocation partners to build assortment, inventory, and financial strategies that power Nike Direct. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training2+ years of relevant professional experience in planning, merchandising, or related retail disciplinesHigh‑intermediate proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience analyzing data and delivering actionable insights; familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, o9, etc.Team-first mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive learning approachStrong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to curate and share out actionable insights from multiple data sourcesAbility to work in Beaverton, OregonHighly Preferred:Experience working in a retail environmentProven track record in retail planning, merchandising, inventory management or related operational disciplinesExperience communicating to executive and a variety of non-technical audiencesWHAT YOU’LL WORK ONYou'll create pre-season style plans that support the ultimate goal of Nike Direct. You'll recap and analyze the business against the financial plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. In addition, you'll develop monthly forecasts of sales and inventory for all basic and fashion styles and will develop strategies to meet department financial goals and own Open-to-Buy forecasts.This role will include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. You'll proactively report on the health of the business and facilitate smart business decisions, communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to managers and cross-functional team members on a weekly basis. You'll collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge.
