We're seeking someone to join our AI Security Enablement team as a Python Gen AI Developer in Cyber to implementation of cybersecurity controls to secure firm's use of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies.In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.The design, development, maintenance, and support of web-based applications and/or distributed applicationsTranslating high-level business requirements on multiple, complex requests into detailed functional, technical, and/or system specifications and designs.Work with cross-functional team to ensure that all key technical requirements are identified, estimated, designed, implemented, and tested.Testing and analysing software designs and solutions (including debugging and troubleshooting)What you'll bring to the role:At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.6-9 years of experience as an Application Developer with design and developing multi-tier Python applicationsUnderstanding of machine learning concepts, model training, and evaluationFamiliarity with GenAI architectures (e.g. transformers, LLMs like GPT)Experience with APIs, especially OpenAI, Azure Open AI and RESTful services.Experience of using open-source frameworks like PyTorch, LangChain, etc.Knowledge of secure coding, data privacy and adversarial attack vectorsFamiliarity with deployment on Microsoft AzureExperience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)Ability to Query Relational Databases like DB2, Sybase and Cloud data sources like snowflakeSOAP & REST Web Services with on XML/JSON based dataExperience with Development tools (Jupyter, VS Code, Maven/Gradle)Experience with Git and DevOps toolsExperience with Jenkins, CI, SonarExperience in the development of service-oriented architecture applicationsA strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and ability to deliver solutions using TDD, BDDExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and written.
