Employment Type:Part timeShift:Description:Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Livonia Surgical CenterTrinity Health Livonia Medical Center– Livonia, MIPart-Time Trinity Health Livonia Hospital is seeking compassionate and dependable Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join our care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the PCT provides direct patient care while supporting a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct patient care including vital signs, intake/output, weights, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)Communicate proactively with the care team and report patient needs or condition changesAssist with clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, oxygen therapy, and basic wound careSupport patient safety initiatives including fall prevention and infection controlMaintain a clean and organized patient environment and document care in the EMRAssist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family orientationUphold Trinity Health’s mission, values, and service excellence standardsQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredOne year of patient care experience preferred or completion of relevant training (CENA, PCT, MA, EMT, or nursing fundamentals)Current BLS certification requiredStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsBasic computer proficiencyJoin a mission-driven team dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care.Our Commitment Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
