We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health!Organization:SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:Develops customer focused plans to drive year over year non-salary cost and variation reductions for the health system and measures performance to system, team, and individual goals. Oversees development, communication, and implementation of strategic sourcing and value analysis project plans and activities to include management of schedule, cost, resources, and deliverables throughout all levels of the organization. Provides oversight of negotiations and execution of contracts for services and supplies in accordance with Sutter standards and works with business partners at the strategic level, understanding goals and proposing plans to support them effectively. Identifies program critical success factors and driving mitigation of significant issues and risks are key to this role.Job Description:EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Healthcare Administration or related field TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:8 years of recent relevant experience.  SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Ability to lead multidisciplinary groups and present to various levels of the organizationProficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.Ability to synthesize data and create meaningful presentationAbility to quickly grasp data provided in opportunity analyses and effectively secure feedback to the supplying source as to its qualityKnowledge of healthcare products and equipment, inventory sources, and alternative sources of supply, purchasing, and distribution systems, contract administration, and new or emerging trends in the industryTeam leadership and organization skillsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to manage complex situations with a high degree of variationAdaptable with a high tolerance of ambiguityAbility to successfully facilitate team meetings that may involve competing objectives Job Shift:DaysSchedule:Full TimeDays of the Week:Monday - FridayWeekend Requirements:As NeededBenefits:YesUnions:NoPosition Status:ExemptWeekly Hours:40Employee Status:RegularSutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.Pay Range is $138,881.60 to $208,332.80 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
