Job description

This is a full time, 12 month fixed term positionAssist providers by functioning as a medical chaperone for providers completing a sensitive health exam/treatment.Assist with room and equipment setup and are physically presentto assist the provider and/or patient and visualize physical contactbetween the patient and provider during the sensitive health exam/treatment.Schedules patient appointments, prepares patient charts and exam rooms, monitors patient flow, assists physicians with exams as needed.Reviews and codes charge slips, submits insurance claims. Performs office duties.Adhere to policies and procedures in place for sensitive health exams/treatment and for documenting their participation in the care according to applicable policies.Minimum Education: High school or equivalentMinimum Experience: 1 year, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experienceMinimum Field of Expertise: Medical office management and medical secretarial experience.                                                  USC is an equal opportunity employer.
