Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.Fab 10 Facilities Senior Mechanical EngineerLocation: Fab 10 Facilities, SingaporeJob DescriptionYou will play a critical role in managing the engineering and maintenance and project works in the fields of Mechanical Facilities equipment and system on site, to achieve continuous improvement to system robustness, reliability and efficiency with the necessary guidance and direction from Facilities organization. Your ability to achieve team target will help in accomplishing department and company goals.Job Responsibilities: Plan, design and lead Cleanroom Facilities mechanical system expansion projects to facilitate tool utilities demand of future technology of manufacturing equipment as required per project if necessary.Respond and problem solving of system issues and production interruptions to mechanical related systemsIdentification, evaluation and potential implementation of advanced technology on Mechanical systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability effortsPerform capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systemsEnforce to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work.Responsible for continual improvement of preventive maintenance programs for systems to achieve optimal system performance and uptime.Engage in driving system reliability improvement initiative to enable maximum equipment uptime and reduction of system interruption.Lead troubleshooting and timely response to site for system abnormities to reduce production impacts. Carry out Root cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence.Perform effective capacity tracking and planning for mechanical systemsInnovate ideas, implement predictive maintenance through SMART Facilities initiative in collaboration with control team.Track and monitor equipment spare parts and consumable inventoryEnforce to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work.Plan and ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for Facilities mechanical systems including HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressed air systems, Fire protection system and cleanroom air systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliabilityIdentification and enablement of smart technologies and AI for improvement of managed tasks, i.e.: project tracking, maintenance overviews, budget tracking, etc.Procurement tasks involving ARIBA / SAP software for the purchase of services and parts to upkeep the Facilities Mechanical SystemJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with minimum of 5 years Semiconductor Facilities ExperienceTechnical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical and Process Systems including Cleanroom HVAC, Chilled Water, Heating Water, Makeup Air, Recirculation Air, Process Cooling Water, Process Exhaust, Compressed Air, Process Vacuum, General HVAC, etc.Knowledgeable and experienced and application of problem solving and data analysis methodologyKnowledge able of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work for Facilities mechanical systemProficient in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incidents investigation.Ability to work in a team environment with various professional level.Familiarity with sustainability efforts (electricity, waste, water reduction) is a plusAbility to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrentlyStrong documentation, analytical, logical, and critical thinking skillsEffective communicator, able to collaborate across all levelsGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learningAbility to operate in fast paced, 24/7 manufacturing environmentsEmbody Micron’s core values:People – Respect, develop, and empower othersInnovation – Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinkingTenacity – Show grit and determinationCollaboration – Build trust and foster teamworkCustomer Focus – Deliver excellence and valueWorking Location:Fab10NXA, 1 North Coast Drive, Singapore 757432About Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
