MRO Delivery ManagerCompany:Boeing Defence United Kingdom LimitedThe Role:The MRO Delivery Manager will lead the Boeing Fixed Wing Maintenance team at RAF Lossiemouth, working with the P8 aircraft through sustainment, and alongside the E7 Maintenance team through flight test and into sustainment.Candidates should demonstrate experience in running maintenance teams in an aerospace environment, including project management skills, knowledge of military/commercial airworthiness, regulatory systems and working with CAMO. You may be a high potential candidate who has demonstrated success and ready to excel in their first management appointment, or an experienced manager, that has worked in an aircraft maintenance environment. Responsibilities:Lead a team within the maintenance environment , fostering a safe culture and ensuring first time qualityEnsure the necessary resources are available to execute the maintenance deliveryCultivate and maintain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports to ensure alignment and successInspire, mentor, and motivate employees, driving their professional growth and enhancing team performanceBasic Skills/ Qualifications:Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”3+ Years in an aircraft maintenance environment1+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniquesEligibility and willingness to obtain a UK security clearance Preferred Skills/Qualifications:EASA/EMAR License is desirable/ And or relevant engineering degreeExperience leading teams in a regulated aircraft maintenance environmentExperience of 737NG line and base maintenanceThe ability to interact with senior military and company officialsThe ability to work independently under time constraints and pressureExcellent communication and people skillsFamiliarity with supply systems and military maintenance practices and proceduresRequires proficiency working in a multi-disciplined environment;The ability to function in a demanding, on-call, operational environmentLanguage Requirements:Not ApplicableEducation:Not ApplicableRelocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.Security Clearance:This position requires the ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check.Visa Sponsorship:Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Contingent Upon Award ProgramThis position is not contingent upon program awardShift:Not a Shift Worker (United Kingdom)
