We’re working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.                  Tool Maker II is an experienced skilled trade position responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and modification of production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.  This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation. Available shift are: 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm M-F 1st Shift: 7:15am-3:15pm M-F Job Specific Responsibilities: Manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures, and gauges that meet production requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications. Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, Lathes, grinders, Welder, etc.) Perform precision machining to tight tolerances using various metals and materials. Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other Tool Maker personnel on tooling improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of tooling changes and repairs. Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires minimum of 2 years of experienceNice to Have: Welding experience (Mig, Tig, and Plastic Welding) TRAK Programming experience 3 years minimum experience programming CNC Machines. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
