Tool Maker II is an experienced skilled trade position responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and modification of production tooling, fixtures, and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation. Available shift are: 1st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm M-F 1st Shift: 7:15am-3:15pm M-F Job Specific Responsibilities: Manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures, and gauges that meet production requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications. Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, Lathes, grinders, Welder, etc.) Perform precision machining to tight tolerances using various metals and materials. Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other Tool Maker personnel on tooling improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of tooling changes and repairs. Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires minimum of 2 years of experienceNice to Have: Welding experience (Mig, Tig, and Plastic Welding) TRAK Programming experience 3 years minimum experience programming CNC Machines. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$55,200.00 - $82,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
