Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.We are currently seeking to fill an assembly position.1st Shift - Full TimeYou will perform a series of routing functions to assemble machine components that support Caterpillar Drills.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assembling / testing, reworking and repairing machine componentsPerforming production based on schedule and continuously improving process efficiencyEnsuring adherence to Standard Work Sheet to achieve quality products and avoid quality issuesParticipating in pre-shift Process Improvement Dialogue (PID) & Continuous Improvement (CI), raising, submitting issues and suggestions and following up requirements from supervisorProviding timely reports to operation supervisor or team lead on material availability and equipment downtimeBasic Qualifications:1-year experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Top Candidates will also have:Previous machine assembly experienceStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentStrong commitment to safetyMust be able to work any shift / schedule as shifts / working hours will change with business needsPhysical Demands:Must be physically mobile with ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach and climbMust be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 lbs minimally, up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequentlyMust be able to see, hear and speakAdditional Information:1st Shift   (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)Full-Time position with benefitsStarting pay is $19.49-25.91 hr.Ability to work overtime as neededRelocation assistance is not offered for this positionPlease ensure you frequently check the e-mail account you provided on your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method in our recruiting process.Caterpillar is not currently hiring foreign national applicants that require or will require sponsorship tied to a specific employer, such as H, L, TN, F, J, E, O.
