This role plays a key part in developing, analyzing, and communicating forecasts that influence business planning and decision‑making across the organization.As an individual contributor, you will leverage economic insight, statistical methodologies, and data analytics tools to develop forecasts across Sales to Users, Dealer Inventory, Commercial Shipments, and Industry demand. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and effectively communicate findings to leadership.What You Will DoMonitor economic trends and market conditions impacting Mining, Quarrying, and Resource IndustriesDevelop forecasts for:Monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)Long Term Forecast (LTF)Annual Business Planning (ABP)Track Sales to User, Shipment, and Order activity, analyzing variances and identifying forecast risksDevelop and maintain forecasting models using statistical and economic methodologiesUtilize tools such as Power BI, Excel, and data platforms to build reports, visualize trends, and communicate insightsTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights to support business decisionsPartner with business teams to align forecasts and communicate findings to leadership audiencesPrepare and deliver reports through presentations, written analysis, and meetingsSupport ad hoc analysis and forecasting requests as neededWhat You HaveAnalytical & Forecasting CapabilityStrong foundation in economic analysis, statistical modeling, or quantitative forecastingAbility to analyze trends and develop data-driven forecasts and scenariosTools & Data SkillsExperience with Power BI, Excel, and data analysis toolsExposure to Python or similar analytical tools is a plusBusiness Partnership & CommunicationAbility to effectively communicate complex information to a broad set of stakeholders, including leadershipExperience translating analysis into insights and recommendationsEducationMaster’s degree Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.What Will Set You ApartExperience in statistical forecasting or sales and operations planning (S&OP)Ability to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in complex datasetsExperience presenting analytical insights to leadership audiencesExposure to mining, construction, or industrial marketsExperience using Power BI or similar visualization toolsAdditional InformationLocation: Peoria, ILWork Arrangement: 5 days per week onsite Summary Pay Range:$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
