This is an excellent, high-impact opportunity with significant visibility across the business, offering the chance to influence key commercial outcomes and drive continuous improvement within a critical function.Join Our Team!What you will doManage a team of Contracts professionals and provide direction and ensure alignment of business goals to contracts organizationResponsible for ownership, development, implementation and execution of policies, procedures and process in accordance with our company and customers, identifying key performance indicators and managing production and analysis thereofParticipate in and/or conduct front-end assessments of proposalsSummarize contractual issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks and formulate recommendationsProvide business support and ensure risk mitigation when necessaryParticipation as lead or provision of oversight of proposal development with particular attention to contractual elements reviewing terms for acceptability and compliance with company policies and procedures, contract formation, negotiations and contracts administration within the businessParticipate in securing required management approval for submittal of proposals to customersSupport closure with customers when contractual challenges are present that require Contracts Senior Leadership engagementContinue to enhance the Contracts Program with the Central Contracts TeamResponsible for leadership and talent development activities for contracts associates within the business and across companyInternally works at all levels of the business with significant exposure and time spent with leaders of different SBUs and the General Counsel of Collins Aerospace.Coordinate between/among SBUs when contracts/proposal activities / common issues affect multiple BUs with the same customerSupport audit or customer requestsWhat You Will LearnDevelop your industry expertise and experienceBuild your strategic leadership skillsLearn from a highly dynamic and innovative businessExperience & Skills Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.Experience working with Government contracts and a working knowledge of industry regulation.Demonstrated ability to effectively represent the Contracts function across the wider business, including engagement with senior leadership and key stakeholders.Strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with the ability to balance risk, opportunity, and business objectives.Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder management and advocacy.Industry knowledge and experience are advantageous and will support success in the role.Certifications Degree in relevant discipline or relevant experience in Contracts environmentSecurity ClearanceHold or capable of holding UK Security Clearance at least to SC levelWhat we Offer you 25 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays + Purchase more option Attractive Compensation & Bonus SchemeProfessional Development & Growth Support with professional fees Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Healthcare benefits (including a healthcare cash plan) Staff Discounts Work/Life Balance & Wellness Programs Employee Recognition & Referral Bonuses Death in Service Benefit Generous Employer Contribution to Pension Scheme Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
