Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Roles & ResponsibilitiesHands-On MMx & Advanced ModelingDirectly design, build, and validate Marketing Mix Models (MMx), including variable engineering, model selection, diagnostics, and ROI interpretationLead scenario simulations and budget optimization analyses using econometric and optimization techniquesDevelop predictive, causal, and segmentation models to inform brand and omnichannel strategiesEnsure reproducible code, documentation, and scalable deployment frameworksAgentic AI & Advanced Analytics ExecutionBuild and deploy AI-driven decision systems, including predictive models and agentic AI frameworksDevelop prototypes and production-ready models using Python/R and modern ML toolkitsEstablish model validation, monitoring, and recalibration processesEnsure interpretability, transparency, and business alignment of AI outputsModel Trust & AdoptionTranslate technical outputs into clear, defensible business narrativesPartner with Brand, Commercialization AI Strategy and Analytics teams, and other functional teams to embed model outputs into planning processesBuild confidence in advanced analytics through structured validation and sensitivity analysesTalent Development & Capability BuildingActively train and mentor junior analysts and data scientists on MMx, econometrics, AI/ML techniques, and best practicesConduct code reviews and establish modeling standardsBuild reusable playbooks, templates, and modeling frameworksSkills & CompetenciesProficiency with causal inference and incrementality tools (geo-experiments, matched markets, synthetic controls, uplift modeling). Expertise in Bayesian/hierarchical MMx, adstock/distributed lag, saturation/response curve modeling, and operationalizing these methodologies in automated pipelines and platformsProven experience launching and scaling agentic AI solutions (multi-agent systems, LLMs, RAG, semantic layers, real-time architectures).Deep proficiency in enabling agent collaboration, negotiation, and task orchestration, including coordination of agent roles/functions within a commercial analytics or decision science context.Experience & QualificationsBA/BS required; advanced degree preferred with special consideration for degrees in life/physical sciences, applied sciences (computer science, mathematics, data science), or engineering10+ years in pharmaceutical commercial analytics or advanced analytics experience with most of this experience in driving MMx projectsProven track record of personally building and delivering MMx models in US marketExperience training and mentoring analytics teamsProven experience operationalizing LLMs for commercial use cases—knowledge retrieval, summarization, generative analytics, automation of insight generation,Experience embedding AI analytics platforms into commercial workflows with enterprise-wide adoption.Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical data (claims, APLD, specialty pharmacy, digital signals, promotional data).Strong foundation in AI governance (risk management, security, privacy, model monitoring, human-in-the-loop) in regulated environments.Experience with cloud analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Spark), MLOps, and BI tools; understanding of HIPAA, GDPR/CCPA and regulatory standards.Mastery of programming and data science tools (Python, R), machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch), large-scale analytics environments, visualization platforms, and workflow automation.Familiarity with CRM (e.g., Veeva), omnichannel metrics, multi-touch attribution (MTA), and AI-driven next-best-action frameworks.Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills—capable of translating complex analytics concepts into actionable business strategies.If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
