Job DescriptionProduction Technician (Finished Product IPT)Permanent, full-time role with competitive remuneration and benefitsLocation: Upper Hutt, New ZealandJoin a collaborative Manufacturing team in a highly regulated GMP environmentSupport packing, warehouse and Gamma activitiesHelp ensure vaccine products are packed, stored and handled safely and compliantlyWe’re looking for a Finished Product IPT (Integrated Process Team) Production Technician to join our Manufacturing team at our Upper Hutt site.This is a hands-on role focused primarily on packing operations, with additional support across warehouse and Gamma activities as needed. Working in a GMP environment, you’ll play an important part in helping ensure vaccine products are packed, stored and handled safely, accurately and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.If you enjoy practical work, take pride in doing things right, and like being part of a team that values quality, safety and continuous improvement, this could be a great fit.What You Will DoResponsibilities include, however not limited to:Packing operationsOperate packing lines in line with GMP and approved SOPsComplete machine changeovers and basic setup tasksAccurately complete batch records and production documentationReview, update and author SOPs, batch records and worksheets within required timeframesSupport change proposals and document/process updates in line with Change Control requirementsWarehouse & Gamma supportSupport warehouse activities including inbound and outbound goods, material movements and stock controlAssist with Gamma plant operations as requiredOperate forklifts safely and compliantly, and reach trucks where licensedComplete required training to support work in the Gamma areaMaintain high standards of housekeeping across packing, warehouse and Gamma areasQuality, compliance & improvementSupport investigations, deviations and continuous improvement activitiesUse process knowledge and problem-solving skills to help investigate deviations thoroughlyCommunicate clearly with team members and other departments to support schedules, documentation flow and issue resolutionIdentify, document and control hazards and environmental aspects in line with EHS requirementsWork safely and help maintain a strong safety culture across the departmentWhat You Must HaveExperience & skillsPractical experience in manufacturing and/or warehousing environmentsUnderstanding of GMP is preferredStrong computer skills across Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAPGood written communication skills and numeracyStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and build strong working relationshipsExperience writing technical reports or deviation investigations is preferredStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingMachine setting experience and good mechanical aptitudeForklift licence required; reach truck endorsement highly desirableAbility to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kgWhat You Can ExpectA hands-on role where your work directly supports product supplyA collaborative team environment where quality and safety come firstVariety in your day across packing, warehouse and Gamma activitiesOpportunity to build GMP knowledge and broaden your technical skillsA culture that values accountability, teamwork and continuous improvementWe are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing talented and committed people together.
