Amgen helped establish the biotechnology industry more than 40 years ago and remains on the cutting-edge of innovation, using technology and human genetic data to push beyond what’s known today.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe position will be a member of Amgen’s Global Finance Leadership Team.Independently leading and managing a centralized local FP&A team that will be responsible for several key planning activities within the forecasting cycleDriving and identifying new procedures/processes or modifying existing ones which lead to improved cost effectiveness and/or appropriate quality, compliance, and standardization levelsImplement standard reporting and consistent delivery across functionsDeveloping and implementing schedules, objectives, and goalsPartnering with Executive Directors and Directors in Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, etc.) to support the strategic directions of the businessImplementing new technology and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, productivity and/or deliveryManaging a centralized Anaplan forecasting process for outside expensesProvide strategic analysis and interpretation of the financial resultsTraining and implementation of finance policies and proceduresREQUIRED FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIESThis role requires an experienced, energetic individual with a strong finance background.
