And you can too, so bring your energy to ours.As Supervisor Health and Safety, you will mentor a team of safety and health professionals responsible for the development and implementation of safety programs. You will ensure regulatory compliance and handle physical risk of business operations, our employees and the communities where we do business. Experience in the energy industry, with a broad natural gas gathering, processing and transmission emphasis is a plus!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Monitors performance metrics for safety programs and workforce enterprise performanceEnsures safety programs are implemented based upon regulatory requirements and needs of businessGuarantees safety processes are clearly defined and communicated to the enterprise; provides metrics and reporting to leadersEnsures business operations is trained in all safety related programs, processes, and proceduresFacilitates technical decision making and issues resolution; acts as change agentCoordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team membersDevelops expense plan and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysisOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Business, Engineering, or related field and minimum five (5) years health and safety experienceOther Requirements:Knowledge of concerning industry codes, standards, practices and legal requirementsPreferred: Previous experience as a formal leaderPreferred: Oil & Gas experienceAdditional Description:Other Requirements:Preferred: Supervises the development, implementation and management of effective safety and upstream regulatory programsPreferred: Experience with natural gas liquids and crude oil pipeline transportation facilitiesPreferred: Knowledge concerning industry codes, standards, and practices as well as regulatory requirementsPreferred: Technical writing, communication, presentation, managing and critical thinking skillsPreferred: Advanced certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Preferred: Advanced certifications such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)#LI-GC1#LI-GC1Why Choose Williams?We are committed to providing our employees with competitive compensation and benefits as part of your Total Rewards package to help protect your current and future physical, emotional, and financial health.
