And you can too, so bring your energy to ours!The Transportation Rep Sr is responsible for nominating, allocating, confirming and balancing natural gas flow volumes with suppliers, purchasers, and pipelines. They will monitor gas volumes and evaluate and reduce pipeline imbalances, analyze data, and monitor and reconcile imbalances while serving as the primary liaison for pipelines and storage facilities. Customer focus, leadership and the ability to tackle complex issues are keys to success!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise; Serves as the first point of contact with customers for scheduling related issuesSupervises gas volumes and evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances for shippers and operators; Communicates with Pipeline Control on confirmation and imbalance management as neededTracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules and communicates proactively with customers to ensure they are well advisedManages and maintains relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives to ensure operational integrityOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences — if you don’t meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potential   Required: High School Diploma /GED and minimum seven (7) years' experience in marketing or commercialPreferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:Able to work after hours as the need arisesMay be required to work between the hours of 6-10 PM on a regular on-call rotation to perform routine scheduling activitiesOther Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, and PC skillsUnderstanding of accounting principles and procedures for gas accountingStrong problem solving skills and analytical approachManages natural gas nominations, confirmations, imbalances, allocations and related activities across multiple pipelines storage facilitiesResponds to customer inquiries regarding tariff interpretation, EBB access, notices, invoices, and operational policies Confirms and balances nominations for storage fields and completes routine regulatory storage reports as neededMonitors for Operational Flow Orders (OFO’s) on other pipelines and ensures imbalances are staying within the required tolerancesKnowledge and understanding of scheduling Eastern Interstates pipelines#LI-CT1About Houston (Williams Tower Location):Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
