Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session. Key Responsibilities:Define and communicate AI product vision, roadmap, and business requirements through close stakeholder collaboration with the AI Office Own and prioritize the product backlog based on value, goals, capacity, and ROI, emphasizing paired data scientist/engineer work Manage the AI initiative pipeline, balancing near-term delivery with long-term strategy and early production integration Write, decompose, and accept Epics as the primary unit of value; partner with the team to create high-quality User Stories Drive delivery outcomes by monitoring product performance, using data insights to improve deployment speed, maintainability, and quality Manage stakeholder expectations and budgets by balancing priorities with feasibility, advocating collaborative development to maximize value Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field4+ years in product management, ideally on data-driven/AI/ML solutionsSkills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of agile/scrum, including paired programming principlesExperience building machine learning and deep learning based software applicationsProven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with technical and business teamsExperience managing product backlogs and delivering value via prioritized, paired developmentAbility to make data-driven decisions and analyze performance metrics, including code quality/deployment efficiencyExperience with cloud stack (AWS, GCP or Azure)Experience with AI/ML, Generative AI and Agentic AI awarenessCertification in agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferredVisa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
