As an intermediate full-stack engineer on the pharmacy team, you will design, build, and deliver software used by millions of Publix customers to digitally engage with the Publix Pharmacy. For example, you will enable customers to review prescription details, request refills, pay for prescriptions, request delivery, find savings, schedule vaccinations, and more, all through the software you create. These solutions include web user interfaces, middle-ware APIs that support both web and mobile interfaces, and the database structures. Your ImpactHands-on development creating accessible enterprise-scale web user interfaces, middleware APIs, and database structuresInterpret security requirements, maintain awareness of secure coding practices, and design and implement secure Internet-facing solutionsRead and interpret requirements of varying levels of ambiguity to produce software designs; interface with business analysts, stakeholders, or management to seek clarification of requirements as needed to produce the desired resultCreate, modify, and automate unit tests to ensure quality of product deliveredSupport quality assurance teams during all phases of the testing processPlan and execute implementation tasks to implement new software in a complex environment, minimizing downtime and impact to customersExecute compliance and development lifecycle activities including documentation of security, design, development, and implementation artifactsParticipate in a support rotation that provides front line support for solutions owned by the team, assuring 24/7 access by customersBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience3+ years of professional software engineering experience2+ years of .Net development experience1+ years of database experience, including data modeling and scripting (any ANSI SQL-compliant platform)1+ years of experience developing RESTful services1+ years of experience using object-relational mapping (ORM) framework1+ years of web front-end development using technologies like React, JQuery, Bootstrap1+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchain solutions1+ years of experience with a unit testing framework1+ years of experience with any public cloud platform5+ years of professional software engineering experienceExperience implementing SOLID design principles and clean coding practicesExperience with Microsoft Azure cloud platformExperience with Microsoft Azure DevOps platform, git, and Octopus DeployExperience with .Net 8 or later developmentExperience with the Oracle database platformExperience with Entity Framework or DapperExperience implementing ADA-accessible user interfacesExperience using Jest framework.
