Progress starts with you.Job DescriptionJob Description (Manager – Crypto Strategic Initiatives)San Francisco, CA, USAAs a Manager on the Crypto Strategic Initiatives Team within Growth Products and Partnerships at Visa, you will be responsible for driving execution of key strategic initiatives (or major workstreams within Initiatives) for Visa’s crypto efforts.  Example responsibilities of the role include:Lead program management across multiple crypto-related workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelinesSupport key executive engagements and syndication of work across leadership, to ensure alignment and clarity of directionPrepare executive-level presentations providing strategic recommendations, initiative status, and risksCoordinate cross-functional teams across product, legal, compliance, finance, and operations to deliver against key initiativesDrive key decisions forward by preparing clear decision frameworks, identifying trade-offs, and ensuring stakeholder alignmentMonitor and track progress of workstreams, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers; proactively implementing mitigation plansManage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency across teams.Support scenario planning and risk assessments for crypto-related projects and regulatory changesIdentify process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing complex regulatory and product development programsThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.QualificationsBasic:5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred:6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,  JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD University Recruiting:  MBA/ PhD without experience 5–8+ years of experience in operations or program management, preferably in fintech, blockchain, payments, or financial servicesProven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, including the capability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignmentTrack record of stakeholder management across technical, legal, compliance, and operational functionsStrong understanding of crypto ecosystems and broader digital asset market dynamicsExperience working with legal and regulatory teams, particularly on financial regulations, digital assets, or compliance mattersExceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for executive leadershipExperience with governance processes, including steering committees, executive reviews, and regulatory reportingAbility to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational riskPassion for innovation in financial technology and an interest in shaping the future of digital currencyPersonal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partnersSelf-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilitiesU.S. Applicants OnlyThe estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
