Who We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a growth-oriented, techno-functional professional for our Bangalore office with experience in Product Management and Development, as well as strong quantitative analysis and data modeling skills. The ideal candidate brings a blend of product expertise, analytical thinking, financial services experience and project management skills to support delivery of new product capabilities and enhancements.This role sits within the Performance Analytics Product Development organization.Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Performance Product Business Analyst AVP, you will:Develop deep subject‑matter expertise in the Performance & Analytics business domain and its supporting applications.Gather requirements and create detailed product requirements, technical requirements, feature specifications, and agile storiesDefine requirements for investment analytics, data models, and data mappingBecome a subject matter expert for Performance & Analytics applicationsDevelop product roadmaps, business cases, project objectives, operating models, product design, product requirements, process flows, and wireframesDefine and maintain project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, architecture, and cross product dependenciesCollaborate with Product, Technology, Service Delivery, and other internal stakeholders in the development and rollout of new products and product capabilitiesProvide regular status updates and supporting program management reports as neededCommunicate effectively with Agile teams, business owners, and product leaders to align expectations, surface risks, and ensure roadmap delivery.Support product testing including user acceptance testing as well as test case and test dataDrive product readiness including release notes, documentation, training, and governance activities for new capabilities and enhancementsIdentify and drive opportunities for efficiency, automation, and process improvement.What We ValueThese skills will help you succeed:Experience in financial services and investment analysis, including product development, analysis, operations processing, reporting and enhancement initiatives.Ability to articulate product capabilities and benefits to teammates, senior management, clients, and colleagues in technology and service deliveryStrong analytical capability in both quantitative and technical domainsComfort and experience with financial data modeling and mappingAbility to work with stakeholders, develop and maintain relationships, and act as a persuasive change agent with strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to distil complex information into clear, concise, actionable insightsStrong communication skills to clearly articulate ideas and ability to use experience and analysis to gain support, facilitate consensus, and forge collaboration with internal and external partiesStrong collaboration, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skillsFamiliarity with software development processes and software/product life cycle development activitiesAdaptability and comfort operating in evolving, dynamic environments.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build consensus across teams.Education & Preferred QualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience, preferably in financial services, investment performance reporting, or business analysis for product developmentBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or equivalent.Advanced degrees in Finance or related professional certifications (CA/CFA/CIPM/CAIA or equivalent) a plusStrong skillset with quantitative methods and solutionsStrong technology insights with demonstrated ability to work across business lines/functionsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in Product Management, Change Management, or Consulting.Knowledge of Performance Analytics concepts and applications.Software development or technical solution experience.Experience with project management/documentation tools such as Confluence and Jira.SQL proficiency and experience with data visualization tools.About State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
