Employment Type:Full timeShift:12 Hour Day ShiftDescription:Holy Cross Hospital, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN Supervisor to lead clinical operations on the day shift.This role is ideal for a strong ED nurse leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about patient care, and enjoys mentoring teams while driving operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesFull-time 36-hour clinical day position with additional office hours (minimum 8 hours bi-weekly)Serve as the clinical leader for the Emergency Department during day shiftOversee staffing, patient flow, and daily operationsAssign and supervise nursing and support staffEnsure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standardsSupport quality improvement, patient safety, and care delivery initiativesProvide real-time problem-solving and decision-making for patient care issuesParticipate in staff development, orientation, and performance coachingPromote a culture of service excellence and teamworkQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Nursing 5+ years of RN experience in an Emergency Department Current Maryland RN license and/or Compact State licensureBLS, ACLS & PALS certification requiredSkillsProven leadership and supervisory experience in Emergency NursingExperienced and competent in pediatricsStrong clinical judgment and critical thinkingExcellent communication and team collaboration skillsProficient in electronic medical records and Microsoft OfficePay rate: $39.47- $61.20Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
