Job DescriptionUW MEDICINE IT SERVICES has an outstanding job opportunity for a CTMS Data Analyst 1 position.  (CTMS: OnCore Clinical Trials Management System)WORK SCHEDULE100% FTE – 40 hours per weekDay Shift – UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 08:00 – 17:00 (PST), Monday-FridayDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONUW Medicine IT Services (ITS) is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine.  UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW).  ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.                                                                                                                                       POSITION HIGHLIGHTS100% remote opportunity15 days of vacation your first year – Also, 12 days of sick time, 1 personal holiday, and 11 paid holidays each year100% matching, 100% immediately vesting 403(b)PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProviding immediate response to basic to intermediate level data-related questions, ad-hoc Tableau and SQL reports, and developing and/or updating business logic reportsMaintaining continuity of data, delivery, and connectionsFacilitating timely changes on preexisting logic to provide more immediate availabilityInvestigating basic to intermediate level data connection issues, prioritizing, and resolving via defined service level agreementsAligning with larger program office process to deliver services and communicating CTMS Program Office priorities to RIT leadershipPerforming tier 1 and lower-end tier 2 support ticketsParticipating in Program Office process meetings to fully understand context when working under the advisement of and being mentored by senior analystsREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience2+ years’ of recent healthcare or IT experience must include the below:2+ year(s) of experience with end user support in an IT domain1+ year(s) of experience with application/system configuration and implementation of clinical information systems (and/or healthcare applications)Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server database programming, including complex query optimization and performance tuningDemonstrated experience with formal software engineering practices (e.g. source code version control, validation, deployment, maintaining Microsoft-based applications, etc.)Basic object-oriented programming skills using an integrated development environment like Visual Studio .NETDemonstrated experience with requirements gathering and analysis, including direct work with end users or customersBasic understanding of database designDemonstrated problem solving and debugging skillsFoundational experience working with multiple APIsFoundational experience juggling multiple system instances/environments (i.e. test, training, development, and production)Foundational experience assisting team members and sharing knowledge, with exposure to mentoring othersFamiliarity with database structures, data definitions, and data relationshipsRecent experience with formal project management methodsFoundational experience supporting small scale enterprise customers, both internal and externalBasic understanding of enterprise change control processesUW MEDICINE – WHERE YOUR IMPACT GOES FURTHERUW Medicine is Washington’s only health system that includes a top-rated medical school and an internationally recognized research center.
