Sr DevOps Engineer (Data)

Must haves: 7–10+ years experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or Cloud Engineering Strong expertise with: Microsoft Fabric-Must have CI/CD pipeline architecture Microsoft Fabric CI/CD API and REST-based automation Advanced proficiency in: Python development (building automation frameworks, deployment tooling) Hands-on experience with: Git-based workflows (branching, pull requests, releases) Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Strong understanding of: Cloud-native architectures (Azure preferred) Data platforms and analytics lifecycle management 12 Months +Contract Remote Description We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric CI/CD DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in automating enterprise data and analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric. This role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines leveraging the Microsoft Fabric CI/CD API and Python-based frameworks to enable scalable, governed, and production-ready analytics and web solutions. You will play a key role in modernizing deployment practices and integrating Fabric with enterprise platforms and web applications. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with: Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments Rancher for cluster management Familiarity with: REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures Data governance, lineage, and security frameworks Experience with API-driven deployment strategies for analytics platforms Exposure to enterprise web-based data applications Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
