Job Title: Financial AnalystJob Category: Finance and AccountingTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: None* * *The Opportunity:CACI is seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our Corporate Finance team.  In this role you will be supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and day‑to‑day financial analysis while collaborating with teams across the organization to ensure accurate data and informed decision‑making.Only local candidates to DMV are eligible for this hybrid role.Responsibilities:Indirect, CAPEX, IR&D, and B&P cost budgetsAnalyze and coordinate CAPEX forecasts with Operations and Corporate FP&A teamsCoordinate, calculate and import Indirect, B&P, IR&D, and depreciation expense forecasts into financial systems for monthly and annual planning cyclesPartner with program finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate planning and collection of expenses across the organizationCompile, analyze, interpret, and report financial data, including monthly and quarterly external indirect rate reportingAnalyze indirect cost trends, variances, and spending patterns to support financial planning and decision‑makingDevelop expense analyses by gathering data, creating metrics, tracking costs, collaborating with department managers, and presenting findings to senior leadershipAssist with indirect variance research and reporting for internal stakeholders and external reporting to DCAA/DCMAIdentify and process reclasses for incorrect transactionsPerform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting using SmartView, MS Query, Excel, and COGNOSCollect, organize, and synthesize data from multiple sources, presenting insights clearly and effectivelyEnsure financial data attributes within financial systems are accurately structured, consistently maintained, and aligned with enterprise standardsCommunicate changes to data structures, attributes, and system updates to relevant stakeholdersOther Responsibilities:Create and maintain documentation of processes and proceduresAssist with FY cutover process by coordinating collection and review of data related to FY changes, such as project strings and organizational codesRecommend process improvements to enhance transparency and control of indirect spendingPerform ad hoc reporting as requiredQualifications:Required: 5–7 years of professional experience in FinanceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience in Finance within a Government Contracting environmentProficiency with financial and accounting reporting systemsIntermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, multi‑worksheet models, and linked workbooksExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingAbility to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non‑financial stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify innovative process improvementsAbility to quickly learn and utilize various IT systems and toolsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and meet deadlinesEffective written and verbal communication skillsSelf‑motivated, able to work independently, and equally effective in a team environmentDesired:Basic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)Experience with DCMA/DCAA data calls and auditsExperience with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, OneStream or Oracle Fusion and/or HyperionFamiliarity with indirect rate structures and indirect cost pool methodologies-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
