Work Flexibility: OnsiteWhat You Will DoIndependently design and develop electrical components and sub-systems for medical devicesDevelop and apply advanced circuit and electrical system test methodsConduct or design advanced prototyping and testingConduct advanced problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirementsConduct and design research and studies to support advanced product designTranslate user needs to design inputs/specifications and produce advanced component and sub-system level designsAnalyze and correct complex product design issues, using independent judgmentIndependently balance design tradeoffs while designing a component of the systemAdvance solutions by applying in-depth knowledge of customer needs, market and competitive offeringsSupport Voice of Customer sessions internally and with cliniciansWhat You Need (Required Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 4+ years of work experiencePreferred QualificationsAdvanced understanding of electrical components and manufacturing methods including common failure modesAbility to interpret, analyze, and test electrical designsWorking knowledge of the electrical design processProficiency in the use of CAD and/or other circuit design and analysis tools to designKnowledge of standard technologies used in industryAbility to interpret and analyze system drawings with basic Mechanical/Software/Electrical InteractionsKnowledge of sub-system, system, and environmental interactions and how to design to them $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
