This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the areas of software engineering, AI, product development, and digital innovation that support business solutions across global markets.As an IBU Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support exploratory initiatives, product development activities, technical documentation, and innovation efforts that help accelerate digital capabilities across the organisation.Job ResponsibilitiesAs an IBU Intern, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assisting with research, competitive benchmarking, and documentation for digital, software, and AI use casesSupporting proof-of-concept (POC) development, testing, and validation activitiesHelping with data preparation, analysis, and reporting tasks for innovation initiativesContributing to software development activities, including basic coding, debugging, and prototypingMaintaining project trackers, technical documentation, and governance artifactsSupporting product teams in requirements gathering, solution exploration, and user journey documentationEnabling faster turnaround for exploratory digital and AI opportunities across IBUCollaborating with team members across engineering, product, quality, and business functionsJob QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related disciplineStrong academic recordExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsBasic understanding of software development, digital products, or AI/ML conceptsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExposure to tools or technologies such as Python, React, JavaScript, SQL, Power BI, or cloud platforms is a plus, but not requiredPrior internship, academic project, or hands-on experience in software, data, or AI-related work is an advantageAdditional InformationLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions.
