This role leverages domain and business process expertise to detail product requirements as epics and user stories, along with supporting artifacts like business process maps, use cases, and test plans for the software development teams.This role will maintain an efficient and consistent delivery process focused on quality, compliance, and business continuity, by ensuring alignment with product managers, other business analysts, system administrators, testers, developers, and business stakeholders with high technical literacy.Roles & Responsibilities:Enable and evolve Clinical Computation capabilities through delivery of technology implementations and projectsApply independent judgment and decision-making to define scope, drive alignment, and ensure outcomes are deliveredCollaborate with System Architects and Product Managers to manage business analysis activities, ensuring alignment with engineering and product goalsCapture the voice of the customer to define business processes and product needsWork with Product Managers and customers to define scope and value for new developmentsCollaborate with Engineering and Product Management to prioritize release scopes and refine the Product backlogEnsure non-functional requirements are included and prioritized in the Product and Release BacklogsFacilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-Sized User Stories and participate in backlog reviews with the development teamClearly express features in User Stories/requirements so all team members and stakeholders understand how they fit into the product backlogEnsure Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done are well-definedWork closely with UX to align technical requirements, scenarios, and business process maps with User Experience designsStay focused on software development to ensure it meets requirements, providing proactive feedback to stakeholdersDevelop and execute effective product demonstrations for internal and external stakeholdersMaintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changesWINWHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUBasic Qualifications and Experience:Master’s degree with 4 - 6 years of experience in Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems experience  ORBachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of experience in Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems experience  ORDiploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Life Science/Biotechnology/Pharmacology/Information Systems experienceMust-Have Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges in clinical development with technologyExperience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum)Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarityExperience in writing requirements for development of modern web applicationHas experience with writing user requirements and acceptance criteria in agile project management systems such as JIRAExperience with programming languages like Python or JavaGood-to-Have Skills:Demonstrated expertise in a clinical development domain area and related technology needsUnderstanding of software systems strategy, governance, and infrastructureExperience in managing product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journeysFamiliarity with low-code, no-code test automation softwareTechnical thought leadershipAble to communicate technical or complex subject matters in business termsJira Align experienceKnowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodologyKnowledge of SAS or R Programming languageProfessional Certifications:SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)Soft Skills:Operates effectively with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to mentor and guide other analystsSkilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members.Demonstrated ability in effectively delegating workExcellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teamsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationAbility to manage multiple priorities successfullyTeam-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goalsStrong presentation and public speaking skillsShift Information:This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule.
