LIVEWHAT YOU WILL DOAs an Project Manager, you will be based at Amgen's Capability Center in Lisbon, Portugal, leading technical and cyber-related projects as part of the Cybersecurity & Digital Trust (CDT) team.You will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, execution, financial tracking, risk management, and outcome realization aligned with CDT and enterprise objectives. You will apply both Agile and traditional project management methodologies to drive delivery while proactively identifying risks, optimizing resources, and ensuring alignment with business and regulatory priorities.Let’s do this. In this vital role you will:Roles & Responsibilities:Own the delivery of project outcomes, ensuring alignment with defined business objectives, timelines, and financial targetsManage all aspects of projects, including scope, schedule, resources, financials, risks, and issuesIndependently determine project approach, prioritization, and execution strategies within defined objectivesApply analytical judgment to evaluate moderately complex risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, and implement mitigation strategiesLead defined project workstreams or multiple concurrent initiatives of moderate complexityPartner with technical leads and stakeholders to identify key deliverables and ensure cross-functional alignmentTranslate business and technical requirements into actionable project plansInfluence and align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of project deliverablesDevelop and report project and financial indicators, including performance, risks, costs, and trendsProactively identify and remove roadblocks and impediments to team progressGuide teams in applying appropriate project management methodologies and practices to improve delivery outcomes and operational efficiencyMonitor team performance and drive continuous improvementFoster collaboration and maintain a delivery-focused team environmentWINWHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUMust-Have Skills:Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end delivery of projects, including scope, schedule, resource, financial, and risk managementExperience applying multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and traditional project management)Ability to manage moderately complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependenciesStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, interpret data, and support decision-makingAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and translate ambiguity into structured plansStrong collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teamsHigh degree of ownership, accountability, and initiativeGood-to-Have Skills:Jira experienceWorkshop facilitation experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) – preferredCertified Project Manager - preferredAgile Certified Practitioner - preferredSoft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with global, virtual teamsStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditionsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationStrong presentation and communication skillsTHRIVEWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT OF USAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also care deeply for our teammates’ well-being and growth.
