Career CategorySupply ChainJob DescriptionWe're Hiring: Sr. Supply Chain Associate – BulgariaReporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Sr. Supply Chain Associate supports warehouse operations, GDP compliance, and pharmaceutical distribution activities in Bulgaria, with prospective future involvement in third-party logistics management across selected European markets.What You’ll Do:Warehouse OperationsSupport day-to-day operations at the Amgen Bulgaria warehouseEnsure proper storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical productsMaintain accurate operational documentation and recordsCompliance & QualityEnsure daily operations comply with GDP, SOX, and applicable EU/local regulations Maintain accurate operational documentation and records to support GDP compliance and inspection readinessSupport regulatory inspections and internal auditsProvide back up support to the Responsible Person (RP) for GDP oversight activities in the absence of the RP, with scope depending on qualifications and regulatory requirements3PL & Distribution ManagementSupport oversight of third-party logistics providers across selected marketsCoordinate with customer service and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveriesProjects & Continuous ImprovementParticipate in supply chain improvement initiatives and cross-functional projectsSupport implementation of operational best practicesMinimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, or related discipline is required.2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations (preferably in regulated industries)Knowledge of GDP/GMP complianceStrong analytical skills and Excel proficiencyFluent EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Pharmacist degree enabling expanded Responsible Person (RP) responsibilities under GDPExperience in biopharma supply chainsExperience working with third-party logistics providersGrowth & SuccessionDepending on individual background and interests, the role can develop toward deeper expertise in supply chain operations, third‑party logistics management, or quality and compliance, with increasing scope and autonomy over time.
