From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection. Job DescriptionJoin Allstate’s Litigation Services team as a Paralegal Specialist, where your contributions will be essential to delivering strong legal outcomes and exceptional service to our clients.Based in Texas, this remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-impact insurance defense cases involving bodily injury claims. You'll take ownership of the litigation life cycle - from answering complaints and managing discovery, to preparing for arbitration and trial. With access to hands-on training and mentorship from a collaborative team of paralegals and attorneys, you’ll build deep expertise and grow your career in a supportive, fast-paced legal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparationDraft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practiceOrder and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosuresPrepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicableHandle e-filing across Texas courtsMonitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and complianceCollaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case filesParticipate in occasional in-person connection events within Texas EducationCandidates must have at least a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, orAn equivalent combination of education and 5 years paralegal experience.Minimum Requirements5+ years Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation.Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environmentFamiliarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.Explore the Benefits of Joining Allstate's Client Legal Services:Exceptional Work-Life Balance: At Allstate, we understand the importance of achieving harmony between work and personal life.
