Progress starts with you.Job DescriptionTeam Summary:The Client Incentive Operations (CIO) team manages incentive contracts with financial institutions and clients by assessing the appropriate accounting treatment, monitoring contract performance and making payouts as per contractual obligations.What a Finance Manager does at Visa:The Finance Manager, Client Incentive Operations, reports to the Director and will serve as a key member of the Client Incentive Operations team. This role will take a lead in the cluster and will partner closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide greater value to Sales and other stakeholders.Contract Administration:Review of contractual obligations and commitments for complex incentive contracts and build such computations into the incentive computation systemPrepare complex contractual payments in accordance with the terms of contractsReview of contractual payments in accordance with the terms of contractsProvide guidance to stakeholders on complex deal structureAct as prepare and approver role for incentive setup and adjustmentsEnsure compliance with Visa’s accounting policy, US GAAP and SOX controls and timely and accurate accounting and reportingChampion the creation and maintenance of high standards of financial discipline and accountability within the geographyResponsible for assigned reports or deliverables.Own performance metrics and drive efficiencies through automation and improvement of business processesBusiness / Team Engagement:Effectively translate technical accounting treatment and financial analysis to stakeholders to ensure full understanding of contractual languagePartner closely with Finance Business Partners to provide support to all stakeholders in the clusterCollaborate with Sales, Finance Business Partners, Client Contract Management, Legal and other stakeholders as needed on contract structuringFoster a collaborative team environment and provide effective coaching and mentoring to more junior team membersProject Management:Drive process improvements and streamlining projects and initiativesSpearhead ad hoc projects to further improve the overall performance of the team and processesWhy this is important to Visa:Client Incentives are a strategic leaver used to win and maintain Visa revenues. They also form a material component of our Revenue and Balance Sheet. Efficient and effective processes and systems are key to delivering this strategy and meeting our SEC reporting requirements. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.QualificationsWhat you will need:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field.8 years work experience, preferably with an MNC with regional operationsProficiency in financial software is necessary for efficient and accurate financial analysis and reporting.Work with large amounts of data, the ability to analyse and interpret it accurately is critical.Ability to lead, influence others and set directionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, and a very upbeat customer-service attitude are essentialAbility to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally, with all levels of management and external clientsExperience incorporating AI into processesWhat will also help:Ability to work with cross functional teamsExcellent business ethicsAbility to work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentProjects you will be a part of:Cross-functional projects with other groupsGlobal streamlining and alignmentVisa is an EEO EmployerQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
