Our technology platform powers investment operations at global scale and enables better financial outcomes for millions of investors.As a technologist at BlackRock, you’ll build next generation systems that combine the pace of a startup with the impact of one of the world’s most sophisticated financial institutions.Team Overview:The Aladdin Post Trade Investment Operations team builds and operates mission critical platforms supporting the post trade investment lifecycle, including performance calculation, trade settlement and confirmation, derivatives and corporate actions processing, payments, and reconciliation systems.The team focuses on scalability, accuracy, resilience, and high quality client outcomes.Role Summary:We are seeking a senior full stack engineer with strong backend and distributed systems expertise, who actively leverages AI assisted development and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery and improve engineering quality.You will design, build, and operate high scale systems while helping shape how AI is responsibly integrated into enterprise software development.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using AI assisted development toolsArchitect and implement agentic AI workflows, including multi agent orchestration and autonomous task executionProvide technical leadership in software design, architecture, and AI augmented engineering practicesBuild responsive user interfaces using React or Angular and integrate with backend services via API first architecturesDesign and operate distributed systems with a strong focus on resiliency, idempotency, failure handling, and scalabilityCollaborate with cross functional teams across regions to deliver high quality solutionsDrive delivery planning, prioritization, and execution against business commitmentsEnsure system quality through automated testing, AI assisted code reviews, and production supportContinuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI, LLM, and engineering toolingRequired Skills & Experience:Strong programming experience in Java, Python.Experience using AI assisted development tools in production workflowsPractical experience building agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, AutoGen, or CrewAIExperience integrating large language models via APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI)Frontend experience with React or Angular, TypeScript, and responsive web designBackend experience with Spring, messaging systems such as Kafka, and API development (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)Strong experience with multithreading, concurrency primitives, and building thread safe, high throughput systemsExperience with relational (Sybase, MSSQL) and NoSQL databasesStrong understanding of distributed systems, performance tuning, and scalabilityExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong collaboration and communication skillsQualifications:B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area5-7+ years of hands on development experience1+ years of demonstrable experience using AI assisted development tools in production workflowsExperience building or contributing to at least one agentic AI system or multi agent workflow Nice to Have:Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Exposure to large scale distributed systemsExperience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)Familiarity with MCP, A2A, or similar agent communication standardsExperience with model tuning, embeddings/vector search, evaluation and testingInterest in finance, investment workflows, or enterprise AI governance  For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$148,000.00 - USD$200,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
