These tasks may include, but are not limited to: i) preparation of samples for whole-rock geochemical analysis, ii) optical microscopy, iii) characterization of thin-sections using e-beam techniques (SEM, EPMA), iv) collection of trace element concentrations from mineral phases using LA-ICPMS; v) construction of simple numerical models of chemical and physical processes; vi) writing of scientific papers and preparation of figures.
