Senior Technical Publication Project Management SpecialistCompany:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Technical Publication Project Management Specialist in JB Lewis-McChord, WA. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating technical manual data and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within aerospace production and maintenance programs. This position involves analyzing configuration changes, developing integrated schedules, and supporting program metrics and reporting while collaborating closely with military or commercial customers to meet contract requirements and drive process improvements.Candidates should have strong experience interpreting engineering drawings, interfacing directly with customers, and supporting presentations and program briefings. The role requires a proactive approach to issue resolution, process documentation, and coordination of audits and change management to enhance overall program success and customer satisfaction.Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Develop processes and coordinate activities to ensure technical manual data/procedures are documented and currentDevelop integrated master schedules and develop reports to support metrics development and trackingReceive, coordinate and estimate impact of change requestsConduct presentations and status reviewsMonitor technical data development at the program level to ensure data is developed and delivered on schedule, within budget and in accordance with contract requirementsAnalyze, updates and documents processes to ensure technical manual data/procedures are documented and currentCoordinate schedules and develop reportsEvaluate configuration changes for impact to publication data; incorporates changes into scheduleSupport presentations and program management briefingsMake recommendations for new business and support implementation of new projectsMonitor technical data development at the unit levelDevelop and deliver data on schedule in accordance with contract requirementsAnalyze updates and documents processes to verify technical manual data/procedures are documented and currentCoordinate schedules and develop reportsReview configuration changes for impact to publication data; incorporates changes into schedulePrepare agreements, pricing quotes and scheduling requirementsSupport presentations and program management briefingsSupport implementation of new projectsDevelop processes and coordinates auditsCreate flow diagrams, process steps and metricsVerify technical manual data/procedures are documented, accurate and currentReceive documented changes and analyze configuration data to determine how publications are impactedForward change data and gather changes from impacted organizationEvaluate changes for accuracy/applicabilitySchedule work per documented policiesMonitor technical data development at the unit levelDevelop metrics and data to support program management briefingsSolicit customer feedback and takes action to improve satisfaction with company servicesSupport customer presentations and program reviewsInvestigate and resolve issues as directedSupport development of presentations to program/customersSupport implementation of new projectsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specificationsExperience in aerospace production and maintenanceExperience interfacing directly with military or commercial customersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):C-17 Technical Publications experienceConflict Of Interest:Successful Candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
