Financial Analyst, Ad Sales

JOB DESCRIPTIONFox Corporation is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Ad Sales Finance team. The Financial Analyst will assist with expense budget planning and provide daily operational and analytical support across the ad sales organization. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Monthly Close, Budgeting & Forecasting Perform monthly financial close, including expense accrual entries and general ledger reconciliationsPrepare monthly reporting and detailed variance analysis Prepare variance drivers and commentary for executive reporting packages and network finance teamsReconcile detailed expense budgets for Research, Marketing, T&E, Events, and DigitalUpdate models with actuals, revise forecasts for monthly/quarterly submissions Analysis & Daily Operations Invoice processing and management of expense authorizations and vendor onboarding requestsMaintain Workday T&E reporting and expense management by the ad sales employee and the management teamField ad hoc reporting requests from Sales management and Corporate FinanceAssist with envisioning and creating new reporting as neededWork closely with peers in Ad Sales and Finance groups WHAT YOU WILL NEED Accounting/Finance/Economics bachelor’s degree1-3 years of experience in Public Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Investment BankingExceptional attention to detail, ability to produce high-quality deliverablesComfortable working under tight deadlinesAbility to simultaneously manage multiple projectsAbility and willingness to quickly adapt in a rapidly changing environmentStrong Excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER Workday Financials & HRAdaptive PlanningStrong interest in the Media/Advertising industry #NewYorkJobs #ChicagoJobs We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $28.75-36.78 per hour.
